My littles… so darn cute!

Obviously my babes can't take pictures… sorry Ffi

Sassy right there.

Trying to recreate a picture from last year… (note to self: I like my longer hair. Whaa)

Making Ornaments for my class to decorate:

Here are the ingredients I used:
½ cup salt
1 cup flour
½ cup water
Rolling pin
Cookie sheet
Toothpick
Miniature cookie cutters

The kids loved it! And it was the perfect gift for their parents!

The Park's Talent show ended with your first grade team:
Tina Turner and her back up dancers present...

Rolling on the River...

No we did not practice, we are just that good.

If you noticed me and Ms. Thomas are wearing matching boots… since teaching together are wardrobes have crossed over into each others closets. Weird? Probably.

Our MC, he loves being on my blog :)

After school let our I hosted our little ladies dinner to start the break! Below you can see my new glittered mug! My girls and I pulled names and bought mugs based on that person's personalitly… then we had to guess whose mug it was supposed to be for! So fun. My friend Katy obviously knew me too well!

Lastly, here I am this weekend with my fiance's family going to dinner at the Ritz… how beautiful are their decorations!

A Little Christmas Cheer Update...

Yes, I know… I have been a bad blogging friend to you all. Sorry! However, I am going to try to catch you up on a little of December? Yep. It has been that long.

First up… we had a surprise visitor arrive.

I created a little mystery activity for my littles to use their inferencing skills to guess what was in the bag… (thank you abby for the idea)

After I gave my students the four clues and the recorded them on their paper we created wrote our guesses on chart paper… however I forgot to snap that!
*I'll post the printables later in the week*

Finally I introduced my kids to the Elf on the Shelf… we then had a fun time naming our little fella!

Meet Benten...
Next up, our Christmas Around the World Celebration.
After learning about each country and filling out our Christmas Around the World Scrapbook (via Sara Cooley)…
My students created place mats for our partay! YAY
I gave each students a treat from around the world:
Taco - Mexico
Swiss Roll (Yule Log) - France
Candy Cane - United States
Honey Bun - Sweden
Gingerbread - Germany
Cake - France

Happy Holidays from my class to yours!
